#sponsored Sitting and stitching by hand whether it is simple stitching, decorative embroidery, or cross stitching is always one of my favorite ways to relax and de-stress. There is something so soothing to me about picking out my thread colors and just taking time to sit and slowly craft.
Today I am sharing a mixed media piece I created to hang on my wall - although this idea can easily translate into a frame or shadowbox as well. I used my ScanNCutDX and built in designs to make quick work of my felt and cutting out all of the shapes I wanted. This allows me to get right to the fun of making.
One tip I will share - I like some kind of stabilizer on the back of my felt as it really helps to make sure my felt both maintains shape and also during stitching I am less concerned about warping the felt piece or pulling too hard. I find it just makes things easier for me - as well as keeping my ScanNCutDX mat a lot cleaner too. This sort of a project will work on so many materials, and in so many themes! #brandambassador @BrotherCraftsUSA
