When I went on my final visit to my local Joann fabric, I did not expect to find a bolt of sequin mesh fabric that I simply had to have. There were only 5 yards left, but I knew that was exactly enough to make it the missing piece of the studio curtains.

They are now hanging happily here where I craft, and I am very excited coming in the room and seeing them all done. In total, these curtains are close to 20 yards of fabric and that is a whole lot of sewing, especially when you consider the strips.

My original vision did not exactly happen – but when you are designing on the fly, and you are taking on a project of this scale you have to follow where it takes you and be open to adjustments.
