The idea for this video came about after hearing this song and really wanting to work with it. It's rare for me to hear a song and feel compelled to vid it - usually I spend most of the time trying to track down songs for an idea I have and this was a reversed situation that couldn't be passed up.
Felicity Smoak is one of my absolute favourite characters on "Arrow." I adore her. I wish she had a bigger storyline than being someone's love interest this season, but I think the opposing dynamics of Felicity/Ray and Felicity/Oliver represent her own journey of "identity" as Oliver and Ray both embody different paths for Felicity to take - not just romantically but in terms of her future; she can spend the rest of her life down in the Arrow Cave, or she can climb up the business ladder and fulfil her desire to do good via other means (of which appear to be just as satisfying to her). So I think this season is heading down an interesting path as Felicity is obviously going to have to make a clear, distinct choice of what she wants to do. Personally, I don't think Felicity is meant to end up with any of these men (I mean we still have another 2, maybe 3 seasons of this show) but I think the season is heading towards Oliver and Felicity attempting to have a legitimate relationship. I wish Ray wasn't just a foil for that because I legitimately enjoy his scenes with Felicity, and after "Draw Back Your Bow" I kinda ship them. But realistically, I think Ray will be gone after season three, Barry and Iris will end up together and Laurel and Oliver will end up together too.

You are always here to me... and I always listen... and I can always see you.
As you may not have known, the relationship between The Doctor and River Song has been, quite possibly, my favourite aspect of the series for a while now, and since the finale, Ive been in quite the biggest state of denial. On one hand, I feel like it was done in a way that allowed for the possibility of her return, whether its post-library, or pre-library (as we havent really seen her be given the screwdriver, and sent to the library). On the other hand, it was almost THE perfect way to wrap this story up- wrap HER story up. Their story. So Im torn. No matter what, though, Id love to see more of them, and especially, more of River Song.
One of the funnier moments Ive had so far with this relationship, was, during this seventh series, despite my love of Clara (who is an amazing companion, btw), Ive been quite defensive of Eleven/River to the point where Ill be watching them in a close scene, or sharing that spark of chemistry they have, and be like whoa, whoa, back off, hes married! And Ive never liked when fans are all, The Doctor belongs with THIS character, and thats it. And Ive seen that quite a lot, and realised I kind of turned into that during this series. But this show is all about change, and you know, hes loved before River, and hell love after. Im just glad her role in his life, and their time together, was acknowledged as something significant- they were married, and they were in love, and I dont think anyone can really sit there and tell me otherwise because of what we saw in this finale, and how it all tied together brilliantly.
I kind of wish we had a full season with those two, travelling together. I know that sounds kind of fan-wanky, but its something that I felt was needed after The Wedding of River Song, and especially once Amy and Rory left the show. Id just love a block of episodes that involves those two, and always thought, for her send off, thats something we might have received. Again, Im torn. I dont want to believe its over, and theres ways to work around it, but again, Ive got until November to just accept whatever happens is going to happen, and be okay with either route. I dont know if it helps that weve seen her die in her introduction to the show, or made it worse. But I have loved every episode weve seen these two together in, and seen River Song, and theyve been my favourite relationship on the show so far.
Side note: I found a REALLY great video done to this song while I was rendering (I really should research before I make videos) and I really hope the vidder isnt offended or feel cheated, like Ive copied their idea. This song just SCREAMS them, and when the finale finished, I wanted to make a video for these two, and this song was always THE song for them, to me.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it! I found it hard to watch back because I MISS THEM ALREADY. But whatever. Shit happens. Hahaha, no. But god! Theyre so epic. I need to find an end point to this rant. So lets make it... now. :)")
