I wanted to write a story for each song on "Sampler Platter," and this one felt like the perfect culmination of the previous four tracks, or like the rising action of the story. Back when the album still had a storyline with SZA, a lot of the songs revolved around her character, including this one and the Usher track before it. I absolutely LOVE the chops on this and how the live instrumentation weaves in and out. It’s easily one of my favorites, and honestly, it’s barely changed since the day I made it.
