Of Sand and Sabres is a FE8 custom campaign set in a land of sun-scoured wastes, haunted by the horrors of monsters and men, ancient secrets, and cursed swords. It features tight level design centered around Fire Emblem's oft-maligned desert maps, as well as a cast of unique units - particularly playable monsters - designed to be memorable without relying on skills. Aside from that, Of Sand and Sabres also has a fully custom soundtrack, many new items and mechanics, and a story about warriors on the brink fighting both the long-forgotten past and their own fears.
