Type: Federal Signal EOWS-1212 (prototype)
Signal: Attack
Location: 2201 Donald Road, Bethel, Clermont County, OH

Hit up this EOWS with Mike and mrboojay yesterday. For anyone who isn't aware, these EOWS were the first ever produced by Federal, and were designed to bid on the siren system for the Zimmer nuclear plant in Moscow, OH. The plant ended up not passing new NRC regulations and was converted to coal before ever going critical. As a result, the sirens were given to the jurisdictions they were in. Some chose to replace them, some chose to abandon them, some chose to move them, and some chose to keep them in place and active- which is the case with this particular unit. Tate township does have another standing EOWS, but that one is inactive and indirectly replaced by a T-128.

As you can tell, this unit is a little worse for wear. The batteries need replacing soon, an the amps appear to be on their way out as well. Either way, it was cool as hell to experience. The ambience before and after was neat as well. Enjoy!
