This siren is located on Mill Street in Straughn. Henry county sirens tests every Friday at 12PM ET.
The original plan was to go to Muncie but there was a small weather risk so we didnt want to risk having no test. So we decided to go to Henry county, the others went down the road to Lewisville to the P-15, while they drop me off in Straughn to hear this beautiful 3 phase 22. It did not disappoint!

Recorded April 20 2019. This siren is a mess and thats no joke. While the head of this siren is fine and fully functional, the blower is a different story, seeing everything during that time with it, the blower needs a complete overhaul and rebuild, at that point, bring the entire siren down and give it a proper overhaul that it needs. Im not gonna go into full detail what the blower all needs but all in all, this Thunderbolt needs desperate help.. and an actual RCM. This Thunderbolt was installed in 2016 and is originally from Pennsylvania.
