Here's some pictures I snapped on a few recent hikes my wife and I have taken in the Gold Country of the Sierras in Northern California. Beautiful weather conditions for mid-February. Loves Falls is along the Pacific Crest Trail near Sierra City, Independence Trail is a fascinating trail near Nevada City utilizing leftover mining plume structures from Gold Rush days, and Hidden Falls is a spectacular regional park west of Auburn. Pics were taken with a Sony RX-100v5 point-and-shoot and a Samsung Galaxy S10 cell phone.
