A playthrough of the first F.E.A.R. Game in HD quality on Moderate Difficulty.

I decided against calling it a 'walkthrough' as I've only ever played and completed it once before... I rarely get lost or waste time though. So it should be entertaining to watch.
It was also a whole new experience again as I had totally forgotten most of the scares and level designs. Therefore I will react to things and won't just ignore or run past them.
Additionally, I think I only missed 1 reflex booster in the entire game. By the end of the game I'm maxed health at 199HP. So I suppose I didn't do too bad.

![Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 13 - Seperation + Tower + Top + Ethereal
The battle can be quite difficult since the enemies are hard to spot. You must make sure to stay close to Miller at all times or else you will get an instant game-over by being overwhelmed by monsters.
The tower and the rest of the game is pretty easy though, it just requires you to move quickly.

I edited the user.cfg with notepad in order to increase the FOV.
To do this you must edit the SICK_FOV value in the THREE user.cfg files located here:
C:Users[your username]AppDataLocal4A GamesMetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonmetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamuserdata[random set of numbers]43110remote
Important: You need to keep the fullstop. I set it to SICK_FOV 65. Remember that Metro uses vertical FOV measurement rather than the common horizontal measure. A vertical FOV of 65 is a horizontal FOV of 90 on a 16:10 1920x1200 resolution. Setting it any higher might make some errors appear like seeing the end of your arms during reload animations or cutscene animations. You can try to see what you like best.
I just think the default FOV is ridiculous... and unfortunately, this is becoming way to common an issue for console ports nowadays. Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 13 - Seperation + Tower + Top + Ethereal](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xFW_GdbadGk/mqdefault.jpg)

![Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 11 - Driving to Sparta + Dark Star + Dungeon + Cave
Fairly easy levels since you can start letting lopse with your ammo... just be sure to have a decent amount of assault rifle ammo left for upcoming biomass level.
Also be sure to look after Vladimir (the old guy). Hes just an enginner and therefore the weakest of all Rangers. Stick close to him during the ambushes and take down anything attacking him. You can safely ignore most of the other guys though. You will be given a game over screen if Vladimir dies.
