This collection of oral stories was made possible with grant funding from the National Association of City Transportation Officials. Through spoken word we learn more about the connections between people and place and the unique history that has shaped communities here in Fort Collins. These stories were shared through their respective participatory asphalt art installations and give us a glimpse into the lived experiences of the people it has touched. Offering the opportunity to provide their own narratives, we hope to strengthen the fabric of communities that have been marginalized in conventional history.
