The FBI arrest of a New York woman accused of plotting an ISIS-style attack has renewed concerns about domestic terrorism and the challenges of stopping radicalization online.
Jessica Bowie, 35, was arrested in Albany this week. A Justice Department complaint alleges Bowie wanted to bomb the New York state Capitol.
“The allegations in this complaint are deeply disturbing that someone would harbor such hatred toward our way of life,” John Sarcone, first assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of New York, said Thursday.
