I tried my hand at making faux druzy using crushed gemstone chips, micro glitter and Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. I used a 1" acrylic disc for a base, but any flat stable surface could work. I covered the surface with a layer of glittered nail polish for camouflage.
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic is a nice product, but it isn't terribly durable. Don't even think about getting it wet because it breaks down and dissolves in seconds.
