FATS MEETS LOUIS was a celebration of the music of both Louis Armstrong and Fats Waller at the Gravenhurst Opera House on Wednesday, May 25th. It featured three pianos -- Neville Dickie, Jon Seiger and Jack Hutton. Jon also sang and played trumpet like Louis Armstrong. The three musicians did not have a rehearsal, but the evening was pure magic and received two lengthy standing ovations. Here is Jack Hutton introducing the historic concert, followed by the two opening numbers, SLEEPY TIME DOWN SOUTH, Armstrong's signature tune, and UP A LAZY RIVER as Louis Armstrong sang and performed it.
