This was a powerful moment in our transformational training at the Cave of Adullam, when I was led by the Holy Spirit to place myself as an obstacle between a father and his son. The dad's task was simple, but not easy — he had to get past me to reach his son. That day, he proved he was willing to confront resistance to be present for his son — and years later, he’s still showing up as a strong, committed father. This is what it looks like when a man understands that fatherhood isn’t passive. It’s active. It’s protective. And sometimes… it requires us to fight!
