A 1-year-old boy was found unresponsive after being left alone in a car in East Windsor over the weekend.

The boy's father, 47-year-old Kevin Pell, appeared in Hartford Superior Court on monday after being charged with risk of injury to a child. He is out on a $1 million bond with conditions of release. Police say additional charges may be coming. In a press release, East Windsor police say "This investigation had revealed that the child was left unattended in a vehicle for an undetermined amount of time hwere the child appears to have suffered from heat related medical issues."
