A sport biker was killed in a crash near the North Freeway around 9:30 p.m. on May 3, 2026, according to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division investigators. Authorities said the rider struck a curb, fell from the motorcycle, and was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston firefighters. No other vehicles appeared to be involved in the crash. Investigators are still working to determine whether speed or reckless riding in the parking lot may have been factors.
