Two menus can exist simultaneously by bringing up the pause menu some frames just before Hero Mode's retry menu comes up. Interacting with both these menus seems to affect data values which then can cause the game to execute something that it wasn't originally programmed for or crash it in most cases. Here's an assortment of clips showing some of the results I was able to capture so far.
-Bringing up both menus in Hero Mode.
-Playing Hero Mode in split-screen multiplayer using both ships at the same time, which is normally impossible.
-Playing Hero Mode in a solo race, which is normally impossible.
-Attempting glitched split-screen multiplayer in Championship Mode. So far it has always crashed. Notice "11[key" on the right side.
-While in Multiplayer Mode, chaos ensues after apparently selecting two instances of the same track.
