In this video Maxx attends a Vampire the Masquerade larp, but only has a few days to prepare a character and costume for the event.
I've never larped Vampire before, so I know almost nothing about the game, and instead of reading the rule book, I am just going to make a very deep character with lots of flaws, costume it well and become completely immersed. I am a huge fan of following rules at games, however, when time is short, having a great character is more important then knowing how to play in my opinion.
I decided to create a Camarilla Ventrue based heavily off the character Patrick Bateman from the "American Pyscho" movie (Not sure if the book is the same). I worked with an story teller to rearrange a pre-generated character to make it closely match the movie character. I feel I pulled it off.
This video is a bit long-winded, but if you are the type of person who waits until the last minute to make characters, or if you're in a crunch to make a character fast, I think this video can give insight into how to handle that scenario.
