On November 10, 2018, Astronomers discovered the second most distant celestial object in our Solar System.

No, it wasn’t an asteroid, not a comet either instead it was a planet named 2018 VG18, nicknamed “Farout”.

It wasn’t 9th or 10th planet of our solar system instead it was the 14th planet of our solar system.

Farout is located at about 124 astronomical units (AU) from the Sun. One astronomical unit (AU) represents the mean distance between the Sun and the Earth.

So 124 AU means it is more than three times away from the dwarf planet Pluto which is 39AU away from the Sun.

Farout is 4.5 times smaller than Pluto and has a likely spherical shape which makes it a dwarf Planet. It takes about 929 years to complete one orbit around the sun.

Brightness of 'Farout' suggests that it has a Pinkish Hue color, which generally associated with ice-rich objects.

Thanks For Watching.
Peace.
