Arrow Video has revealed its November 2026 releases, and there’s a seriously varied selection coming our way.
We’ve got four major films making the jump to 4K UHD with Fargo, WarGames, The Dirty Dozen and Clash of the Titans, alongside two particularly interesting releases for Hong Kong cinema fans.
Shawscope Presents: Street Gangs of Hong Kong dives into the grittier side of the Shaw Brothers catalogue, while The Blade Spares None / The Hurricane gives us a double helping of classic Golden Harvest wuxia.
In this video, I’m going through all six announcements, taking a look at the films, the editions and deciding which ones are going straight onto my shopping list.

Arrow heads away from traditional Shaw Brothers swordplay and into the streets of Hong Kong with a collection of seven films:

The Convict Killer
The Brothers
This could be one of the most interesting Shawscope releases yet, exploring a very different side of the legendary Hong Kong studio.

Matthew Broderick accidentally brings the world to the brink of nuclear war after hacking into a military computer in John Badham’s wonderfully entertaining 1983 techno-thriller.

The Coen Brothers’ brilliantly dark crime comedy comes to Arrow 4K, starring Frances McDormand, William H. Macy, Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare.
Definitely one of the biggest films in November’s line-up.

Robert Aldrich’s classic 1967 war movie arrives on Arrow 4K with an incredible ensemble including Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, Jim Brown, John Cassavetes, Donald Sutherland and Telly Savalas.
📀 Clash of the Titans – Limited Edition 4K UHD

Ray Harryhausen’s final feature gets the Arrow 4K treatment.
Greek mythology, Medusa, Pegasus, the Kraken and those wonderful Harryhausen stop-motion creations make this one of the releases I’m particularly interested to see in 4K.

🎬 ABOUT THE LINE-UP
Arrow’s November slate has a little bit of everything. There’s the black comedy and crime of Fargo, Cold War paranoia with WarGames, all-star WWII action from The Dirty Dozen and Ray Harryhausen spectacle with Clash of the Titans.
But Hong Kong cinema fans may have the most interesting choices. Street Gangs of Hong Kong collects seven Shaw Brothers films and moves away from the studio’s more familiar wuxia and kung-fu territory, while The Blade Spares None / The Hurricane takes us back to the early days of Golden Harvest.
It’s another month where deciding what NOT to buy might be the difficult part.
