#22. Q: Whatâs the rule for shoe colour in menâs style?
Select your shoes so that they are darker than the colour of your suit. For example, donât go for a light tan shoe with a navy suit. For navy or black go for black shoes. Dark brown shoes or deep burgundy shoes would work with grey suits. Never wear trainers of any colour with a business suit â ever!

Tokyo Rotary Club meeting at the Imperial Hotel, Hibiya. They always have fabulous flower arrangements and we are getting close to Boy's Day, so the samurai armour comes out.
I wanted to look good at Tokyo Rotary, the weekly gathering of the business titans of Tokyo.
Suit: Gianni Versace Milano 1978 light grey suit in a Prince of Wales check with a mauve window pane pattern, notch lapels, Barchetta breast pocket, 35mm double cuffs, flap pockets, side vents.
