1. Ditch
It’s just under 3 weeks until the album is out and so I wanted to highlight a few songs up until the release.
About half way through writing the album I started to grow frustrated with the process of trying to write a “Far Caspian” song and started writing more left field music (in comparison to earlier work) for a different project I was going to release under a different moniker but that fell by the wayside as I started getting busy producing other bands and artists records. When it came time to finish ‘Autofiction’ I felt like it was missing an interesting opening track and so I thought I’d dig up ‘Ditch’ and add it in. Heavily inspired by the work of Phil Elverum and focused on writing a full song around a single guitar loop. A song about the loss of self hatred.
