With these accessories, you won’t miss having a larger, more powerful plunge router. I already have a 6 mm collet, so I bought a 1/4-inch collet too. Now I can buy all kinds of wood router bits without having to worry about whether the shank size is 6 mm or 6.35 mm. I can use both sizes. I also got an interesting accessory with a bearing: a trimming guide, which can be very useful in some cases, although I don’t think it’s used very often. This might be because it’s more convenient to work with router bits that have their own bearings when we use this power tool as a trim router.
And the palm router accessory you definitely need is the base with columns, which turns your palm router into a complete plunge router.
