This is my third recreation of what a sequel to the film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer might have looked like. This trailer was inspired by an idea by Tim Story, the writer for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer who expressed an interest introducing the character Black Panther into the franchise.
Djimon Hounsou was Tim Story's pick for Black Panther and the actor would actually go onto portray the character in a 2010 animated mini-series called Black Panther.
I chose Klaw as the villain of the story since he is both a long running, personal enemy of T'Challa and also the villain of the first crossover between the Fantastic Four and Black Panther back in 1966. I went with Jean Claude Van Damme as Klaw mostly because he'd fun to edit in.
In this trailer, the Fantastic Four are an expedition in Africa, looking for meteors containing a rare metal called vibrainium. Searching for larger sources of vibrainium, the group finds their way to the mysterious hidden kingdom of Wakanda, ruled over by the king T'Challa also known as the Black Panther.
The Black Panther seeks out the Four and asks their aid in finding a defeating his long-time enemy Ullysses Klaw, a mercenary and assassin who killed T'Challa's father years and plans to steal Wakanda's large supply of vibrainium in order to perfect his armory of sonic weaponry.
