::FIRST PLACE (WMM CATEGORY) IN PUNKANIME14'S AMV CONTEST:: I think it is a very magical achievement, for me to have finished this project in less than two days with WMM, for how much sweat and thoughts I put into this. This song was originally written by Nightwish's songwriter Tuomas Holopainen (who I must confess, I adore like hell) as a dedication to Walt Disney and his creations, and me being the huge Disney fan that I am, I adore this song to DEATH. Then, long ago when I didn't know how to make AMVs, I considered...wouldn't a lot of these words fit with Princess Tutu? And so this project was born, and it rested in my mind, waiting to be used. Now it's finished for you to see...I see this video as a series tribute to Princess Tutu, with a perspective on the two "kings of fantasy" governing the story, Drosselmeyer and then Fakir. (As you will see, most of the video will focus on Drosselmeyer being the king, and then he is almost "overthrown" by Fakir, who is the king for the finale.) Here are the lyrics below, so you can understand it better and catch the Disney referances I compared to scenes in Tutu. XD
Wish upon a star;
Take a step, enter a land;
Walk through the air;
Take my hand...
Wishmaster's will;
Join in the quest for dream...
A make-believe
Is all we need...
Wish upon a star,
No matter who you are,
The second star to the right...
Harbinger's gate,
Beyond the boundaries;
Blossom ballet
In the great wide somewhere...
Wish upon a star;
Believe in will;
The realm of the king of fantasy;
The master of the tale-like lore;
The way to kingdom I adore,
Where the warrior's heart is pure,
Where the stories will come true...
("...And remember me..."
"Because...I love her...")
Bald Mountain Night;
Devilheart endures but light;
A mad aerial dance;
Chernabog's succubi...
Black Cauldron born;
Gurgi's heart forlorn;
Pig-keeper or hero
On a quest of augury...
Maleficent's fury;
The spindle so luring;
Dragon fight, dying night,
Dooming might...
Apprentice of Yen Sid,
Conducting the galaxy;
Dreamer on mountaintop;
Spellbound masquerade...
The Sailor, an idol for the six-year-old in me;
The Phoenix of White Agony Creek;
Enchantress, a mermaid in a tale as old as time;
A Dragonslayer, the Awakener...
Wish upon a star...
I did cut it down a little bit, instrumentally and a bit lyrically as well...but I hope you all enjoy!

I OWN NOTHING. THE AUDIO DOES NOT BELONG TO ME, AND NEITHER DOES THE ANIME. I MERELY PUT THEM TOGETHER. So don't send me any copyright violations, thank you.

![[Non/Disney] Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix trailer
HAHAHA, YES, I KNOW THAT THIS IDEA HAS BEEN DONE TO DEATH. There have been countless castings done on Youtube for Harry Potter/Disney crossovers in the past, but honestly, I could think of no better present for my fellow Non-Disney and Harry Potter fanatic friend, zerosnumber1. I chose Order of the Phoenix mostly because in my opinion I feel it is the strongest of the eight films (partly due to it being based on one of the strongest of the seven books), and fortunately it turned out to also be zerosnumber1s favorite of the movies, so that was luck on my part! The casting is as follows...
Harry Potter ~ Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet) [A lot of people put Eric or Milo in this role due to similarities in their appearances, but I think Jim comes much closer to Harrys personality than they do. Plus they both have a talent for flying things.]
Ron Weasley ~ Hercules (Hercules)
Hermione Granger ~ Belle (Beauty and the Beast) [...Cmon. Obvious choice here.]
Albus Dumbledore ~ King Triton (The Little Mermaid) [I wouldve done Merlin here if he was more dramatic and active in The Sword in the Stone.]
Lord Voldemort ~ Hades (I couldve done the Horned King from The Black Cauldron, but the ending bit just matched up way too well no one else would do.]
Dolores Umbridge ~ Ursula (The Little Mermaid) [I almost did Mother Gothel here, but it seemed smoother to keep all of the characters 2D characters.]
Cornelius Fudge ~ Rogers (The Swan Princess)
Rubeus Hagrid ~ Quasimodo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Cho Chang ~ Jasmine (Aladdin) [I should have probably done Mulan here, but Jasmine seemed a little more flirtatious, which Cho is shown to be in previous books.]
Sirius Black ~ Moses (The Prince of Egypt) [He even kinda looks like Gary Oldman, doesnt he??)
Severus Snape ~ Frollo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
[The following have no dialogue to cement their roles, but were in my head as I cut the trailer together.]
Ginny Weasley ~ Ariel (The Little Mermaid) [This is a salute to Zeros Non-Disney OTP, Jim/Ariel, but she also really resembles Ginny in appearance and attitude.]
Professor McGonagall ~ Flora (Sleeping Beauty)
Remus Lupin ~ Howl (Howls Moving Castle) [He kinda has the double-life-as-a-monster thing down.]
Tonks ~ Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Bellatrix Lestrange ~ Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
This was a fun challenge to do, and I ended up really proud of some of the lip-sync in this. Happy early Christmas to you, Zero mlove, and hope you all enjoy!! [Non/Disney] Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix trailer](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YIpiDuirPmY/mqdefault.jpg)
![[DFGS] Robin Williams: Celebration of Life MEP part
Well, Im sorry to be posting a MEP part for this reason, but as most of you already know, Robin Williams passed away yesterday morning, the victim of an apparent suicide. This death came so out of left field for me that I am more wounded than I have been in response to any other celebritys death. Robin was truly an icon for me in my childhood and even as an adult due to his humor and beautiful sincerity not only was he the Genie, hands-down my favorite Disney side-character of all time, but he was, in my opinion, the real Peter Pan. He was a man who never truly grew up, and I loved him for it.
The day I found out he passed away, I was working at the World of Color evening show and I knew that when the Friend Like Me segment of the show started, I would be so emotional that I wouldnt know what to do. Still, I had to keep myself from breaking down in front of my guests, so instead I followed Robins example putting out as much joy I could enjoying the music and the humor of the moment as the segment played. What was the most striking, however, was what happened next. As the next segment, Brave, started up, we Cast Members were suddenly aware of a strange sputtering sound in the background. We realized it was a stray fountainhead that somehow broke or got out of alignment, and it sputtered for the next two segments before finally quieting and stopping. It was like the show was crying for Robin, the voice of the Genie who in their show brings so much joy to so many people.
Robin, because of you, I will always remember how much a smile and laugh can change someones life. Thank you. Bless you. Miss you.
To die would be an awfully big adventure. [DFGS] Robin Williams: Celebration of Life MEP part](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/_-iDJiWzIGE/mqdefault.jpg)
