Well, this is my first AMV to display my brand new AMV intro that I just made. My mom bought me some cheap fairy tale DVDs at the local CVS, one of which was a double feature with the fairy tales "Pegasus the Flying Horse" and "Beauty and the Beast", and upon watching the first, I decided to use some of the footage for my new intro. Tell me what you think of it! :)
Moving on, I actually took the audio for this from the actual movie rather than resort to the CD due to the fact that this track is not on the original CD. The beginning is, but the most dramatic part is nowhere to be found in any of the instrumental medleys on it. So I resorted to the DVD...which I didn't mind much, the sound effects were fun to work with. This track is commonly referred to as "Mulan's Decision," although the track on the CD, as I've said, only has the first part of it. I did this as a tribute to my favorite character (although he does frequently compete with Ahiru, Mytho, Rue and Autor), Fakir, as a look back at his decision to be a knight of words, and to abandon his sword and take up a quill to save his prince. Hope you enjoy.

Yeah, I know, ANOTHER MEP part. Dont worry, guys, I am working on a full video as I type, I just finally got this done and figured I should upload it. This MEP, hosted by the loverly crowprincess14, is all about crack ships and if you think MY couple is weird, take a look at Moones95s, OtherworldlyArtists, or crowprincess14s parts. Their pieces are super-epic-WTF. XDDD But yeah, Autor and Hermia...one, I figured working with Autor would be fun, and I thought that Hermia having adorable blushy faces would help. Admittedly, though, this was tricky to do, since most of Hermias shots have Ahiru or Lysander in them originally Id wanted to have more of a plot here, such as Autor not liking that Hermia is hanging out with Lysander or being all creepy-stalkerish until Hermia finally breaks down and goes out on a date with him, but that lack of suitable clips from both characters made me scrap the idea. Maybe if the piece had been longer and/or wasnt so upbeat, I could have explored it more. Oh well! I hope you enjoy!")

YES, I AM A DORK FOR JOHNNY DEPP...like the rest of the world, I dont doubt. XD But really, I would like to think of myself as a passionate fan rather than a rabid fangirl given that I truly do respect his acting ability and how much he throws himself into the very diverse and creative characters that he has played. And of course he looks to be a very funny, very intelligent, and very flexible man as well, making him in my mind the best kind of actor there is one that is not only likable to an audience, but likable to directors and other actors. That seemed to make him the perfect person for me to choose to honor in jessegoodwin263s MEP celebrating our favorite celebrities. I wasnt able to represent ALL of the roles Johnny has played in this (thatd be next to impossible to do, I think, in 40 seconds) I was disappointed I couldnt feature Finding Neverland, Sweeney Todd, Chocolat, or Sleepy Hollow, but it was nice that I didnt have to use Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (sorry Johnny, sorry Tim Burton, I just didnt care for it that much)...but I think the movies I chose worked best for the lyrics. The rest of the footage is material I got off of my PotC DVDs most of them are bloopers, though the first is from the opening of PotC 1 at Disneyland. I tried something a little different with the color flashes, I think they worked out pretty well, though the timing was a bit of a pain. Overall Im really happy I could give a small tribute to one of my very favorite actors, who as far as Im concerned deserves just as much credit for his talent as for his looks love you, Johnny!")
