This is the partner video to my video "The World That She Sees," which is an Ahiru tribute from Fakir's point of view...this is its reflection: a Fakir tribute from Ahiru's point of view. I do realize these lyrics makes Fakir sound like Jesus...well, in a way, he is a little like Jesus, in the way that he has great power to change our world for the better...and that's how I approached the video. I used a lot more effects in this video than I have in the past...however, this is only my third AMV, so I guess time (an inspiration) will tell.
And yes, I do realize these songs are terrifically out of season. 8D Isn't it fun?

Yeah, I know, ANOTHER MEP part. Dont worry, guys, I am working on a full video as I type, I just finally got this done and figured I should upload it. This MEP, hosted by the loverly crowprincess14, is all about crack ships and if you think MY couple is weird, take a look at Moones95s, OtherworldlyArtists, or crowprincess14s parts. Their pieces are super-epic-WTF. XDDD But yeah, Autor and Hermia...one, I figured working with Autor would be fun, and I thought that Hermia having adorable blushy faces would help. Admittedly, though, this was tricky to do, since most of Hermias shots have Ahiru or Lysander in them originally Id wanted to have more of a plot here, such as Autor not liking that Hermia is hanging out with Lysander or being all creepy-stalkerish until Hermia finally breaks down and goes out on a date with him, but that lack of suitable clips from both characters made me scrap the idea. Maybe if the piece had been longer and/or wasnt so upbeat, I could have explored it more. Oh well! I hope you enjoy!")

YES, I AM A DORK FOR JOHNNY DEPP...like the rest of the world, I dont doubt. XD But really, I would like to think of myself as a passionate fan rather than a rabid fangirl given that I truly do respect his acting ability and how much he throws himself into the very diverse and creative characters that he has played. And of course he looks to be a very funny, very intelligent, and very flexible man as well, making him in my mind the best kind of actor there is one that is not only likable to an audience, but likable to directors and other actors. That seemed to make him the perfect person for me to choose to honor in jessegoodwin263s MEP celebrating our favorite celebrities. I wasnt able to represent ALL of the roles Johnny has played in this (thatd be next to impossible to do, I think, in 40 seconds) I was disappointed I couldnt feature Finding Neverland, Sweeney Todd, Chocolat, or Sleepy Hollow, but it was nice that I didnt have to use Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (sorry Johnny, sorry Tim Burton, I just didnt care for it that much)...but I think the movies I chose worked best for the lyrics. The rest of the footage is material I got off of my PotC DVDs most of them are bloopers, though the first is from the opening of PotC 1 at Disneyland. I tried something a little different with the color flashes, I think they worked out pretty well, though the timing was a bit of a pain. Overall Im really happy I could give a small tribute to one of my very favorite actors, who as far as Im concerned deserves just as much credit for his talent as for his looks love you, Johnny!")

Aaaaand back to the MEP pieces. XDDD;; Sorry, folks, but I think youre gathering by now how excited I am to be a part of a PT MEP group, let alone with so many talented AMV makers with so many awesome ideas. This awesome idea is courtesy of crowprincess14 the theme is that of an older PT character sympathizing with the troubles of a younger character, and my choices were Paulamoni (my rep character in the group) and Ahiru. In this, Paulamoni sees Ahiru pining after Mytho and then, recalling her own teenhood romance, sees Ahiru move on and start a friendship/romance with Fakir. Younger!Paulamoni is represented by Kiki of the fame of Studio Ghiblis Kikis Delivery Service...half because I wanted someone to be a younger Paulamoni so it would fit the song and half because...well, look at Kiki, doesnt she look like a little Paulamoni?! XDD In my head, Tombo couldnt be Paulo...but I could see him growing up into Karon, so I guess Paulamoni/Karon is my new crack ship. All righty, I just joined my very first MEP GROUP! YAAAAAY!! Hee...yeah, its the brand new Princess Tutu MEP group CourageousFateStudio, co-founded by StarPrincessTally and xQueenyLeAcH, and this is the very first piece of the very first MEP Im joining into, a MEP for the song Pretty Girl hosted by the lovely Moones95. The theme here is abuse, and given that there are so few male characters in Tutu, I figured a crossover would be fun to try...dont know how well I succeeded, but heres an attempt at some Autor/Pique for you! Autor/Pique is one of my secret crack ships, though here it doesnt look nearly so pretty rather than physical abuse, I figured psychological abuse would be easier to show, more like Autor, and more problematic to escape from, and so thats the road I took. And no matter how much Pique hurts in her relationship with Autor, she needs his love too much to let him go. ...I bet Im really frustrating you all, arent I? XD;;; Okay, JUST to make up for all of the MEP parts Ive had to subject you to, I will tell you in advance of the full-length projects I have in store for you. One of them is the Thor trailer to Princess Tutu (starring Mytho as Thor, Fakir as Loki, and Rue as Jane Foster), and the other is a remake of an old Fakir/Ahiru video that was blocked on YT and then was lost on my old computer after a virus done to Bryan Adams Everything I Do (I Do It For You), which Ive already pitched so itll be viewable when its done. The reason I am taking so long in posting these is, as some of you may know from my last MEP part, Ive joined a singing ensemble recently and my first show with them is at the beginning of November...and, as my subscribers know, I am a huge perfectionist on lip-sync and action-sync, so these vids are taking a lot of time, which I already dont have. So yes, mea culpa, please forgive me, but I hope you enjoy the MEP parts I do post.
So! Now that Im done with all the orz, a little explanation. This is a part for a MEP hosted by crowprincess14 for a lovely instrumental track called The Lonely Ballerina (yeah, cmon, with a name like that, how couldnt we put it to Tutu?!). The MEP theme was melancholy, and since I chose my rep character Paulamoni and she has very few scenes, I decided to take some liberties and make this a crossover with the Academy-Award-nominated film Black Swan. In this, Paulamoni reflects on her past life as the disturbed, but beautiful ballerina Nina Sayers. She tries to live happily with Thomas Leroy (reborn as Paulo) and dance like she had before, but the memories of her previous, monstrous self hold her back from truly being happy. I dont know how well the story comes across, but I hope you enjoy it anyhow!")
