Q: What was this tour all about? You seemed to cover a lot of ground! A: Oh, it was such a great day! We joined this really comfortable bus tour that took us all over Washington, D.C. It was honestly a perfect way to see so many of the capital's most iconic landmarks without having to worry about planning every single stop.

Q: What monuments did you get to see? A: We saw so many of the big ones! We spent a lot of time on the National Mall, which was just incredible. We were able to get out and explore the really moving World War II Memorial, marvel at just how tall the Washington Monument is, and spend some quiet time at both the Lincoln Memorial and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. We also got to pause and reflect at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial.

Q: Did you go inside any of the famous buildings? A: We did! It wasn't just monuments. We got to go inside the National Gallery of Art, which was just beautiful.

Q: Did you get to see the U.S. Capitol? A: Yes, we did! The tour took us right to the majestic United States Capitol. It's just as impressive in person as you'd imagine.
