Hey everyone! Since summer is here, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about finding unique camps for the kids. I wanted to look back at our experience at horse riding camp—it was such a transformative summer for my daughter.
I initially had my worries about whether it was "safe," but I quickly realized it was so much more than just a sport. Watching her build a real relationship with her favorite horse, Blue, and learning how to respect and work with the animal instead of just trying to control them was a highlight for me. It’s been amazing to see how much patience and maturity she gained from the experience.
If your kids have been spending a lot of time with screens or robotics and you're looking for something different to try this summer, I’d highly recommend looking into local ranches in your area.
