On our recent trip to Sonoma, we stayed at The Lodge, which is one of those nice Autograph Collection hotels from Marriott. We wanted to give you a quick, honest peek at the extended room we stayed in as a family of three and share how we were still able to use our Marriott Bonvoy benefits for free breakfast. It was a really cozy spot for us and a great home base for exploring the local markets and, of course, a little olive oil tasting. Hope this look inside helps you plan your visit!

❓ FAQ - Your Questions Answered!
Q: We're Marriott Bonvoy members. Were you able to use your benefits at this hotel?
A: Yes, we were! Even though the hotel is part of the Autograph Collection and feels very unique, our Marriott Bonvoy benefits still applied. We were able to get free drinks and, most importantly, free breakfast, which is always a big help for the family budget.

Q: What were the room options like? Did you get a standard room for your family?
A: They have a few different types of rooms. I saw they have these really nice-looking cabins, which seemed perfect if you were on a wellness trip or doing a wine-tasting tour. Since there were three of us, we opted for an extended hotel room in the main building, and it worked out well for our stay.

Q: What did you do for food? We might be arriving late, too.
A: We actually did arrive pretty late, but we were relieved to find that Uber Eats was still delivering to the hotel. It was a lifesaver! For other meals, the free Bonvoy breakfast was our go-to in the mornings.

Q: We're traveling with kids. You mentioned Snoopy; can you tell me more about that?
A: Yes! If your family likes Peanuts, Santa Rosa, which is the "home of Snoopy," is only about a 15 or 20-minute drive away. It's a really easy and fun little side trip to make while you're in the area.

Q: Besides wineries, what other local things did you find to do?
A: We found a really fun olive oil tasting! It was a different kind of activity and just as interesting as the wineries. There were also some nice local markets just a few minutes from the hotel that were great for just browsing and grabbing some local flavor.
