Six months after the supply ship Galveston sank in the Mississippi River following a collision with a Panamanian freighter, the family of missing crewman Donnie Howell of Mobile is still searching for answers.
Three crew members died in the accident. Two bodies were recovered, but Howell's body was never found. Divers ended their search less than a week after the sinking, leaving his wife and children without a grave where they could mourn him.
The Howell family is demanding that Trident Marine, the company that owns the vessel, raise the sunken ship. They believe Donnie may still be aboard. Meanwhile, the Army Corps of Engineers has reportedly sent letters ordering the company to move the vessel.
