Fertilizing your lawn in the late fall (before the ground freezes) is one of the most important things you can do for your lawn. It will help push roots deeper and “harden” them to protect against the colder temps of winter. Nutrient’s are also stored in the grass plant and help promote an early spring green-up in the spring. I picked some fertilizer up from my local big box store to throw some down and I show you how its done in this video.
