Do fish still bite in the rain? I went bass fishing from the bank, in the rain, and this is what I caught on crankbaits. I start out this video with a small Rebel Crankbait and I was fishing it near a school of shad. I quickly catch two largemouth bass while they were interested in the nearby shad. I even had two more bites but I couldn't keep the fish hooked. I then switch to a larger, hand painted, crankbait (that I painted myself). I even manage to catch a bass on that lure as well. BEGINNER FISHING TIP: Fall fishing in the rain is good for two reasons, there are less people out fishing because of the rain, and the bass are still feeding n shad. Do fish still bite in the rain?
