Today I'm doing some summer fishing from the bank for big bluegill. Hot summer fishing can be challenging because of how uncomfortable it is. But if you go out early in the morning you might be able to catch more fish. The wasn't hasn't warmed up yet so the fish are still shallow. I catch a bunch of big bluegill on my desperation rig. The rig consists of a Gulp Alive Minnow on a jig head, under a float. Most of today's bluegill were over 8 inches! If you like to bank fish in the summer, or maybe you are just bored, give it a try and let me know if you catch any big bluegill. #summer #fishing
