Hey guys, here's a vid on the different types of fall and winter insulation that I use, price ranges and staying warm on a budget if needed. Its very possible to stay warm for not a lot of money if you use the right clothing, tarp and insulation, but that insulation doesn't have to be expensive cottage manufactured quilts.... it can be an old sleeping bag, a cheap ccf pad, budget quilts like OneTigris or Snugpak or even D.I.Y . All that matters is that it works for you because everyones situation is different. What might work for me might not for you, but as you'll see, you've got options. Get what works best for YOUR situation and you'll be just as warm as if you had cottage made quilts. Don't get me wrong, cottage quilts are by far the absolute best option IF you can afford them and IF you need that type of lightweight, packable, customizable insulation. But a budget quilt from a cottage vendor or other budget option will keep you just as warm.
