Fake music producers are becoming a bigger problem in the modern music industry.
In this video, oO5 Dynasty breaks down the difference between actually producing music and building an online identity around being a “music producer.” Music production should be about creating, experimenting, developing your sound, solving musical problems, and making records — not simply creating content about equipment, MPCs, plugins, and production culture.
There is nothing wrong with creating music content. The problem begins when content creation starts replacing the actual craft.
