Nerves getting me a bit, as we share a bit of what's ahead this week. Dylan Domangue and I are flying out to Washington, D.C., to continue our storytelling with Flight 5342. I think it's vital for us to visit Washington, as we speak to victims families, NTSB investigators and lawmakers about change since this tragedy one year ago.
Sending thoughts and prayers to all touched by this. I'm grateful for our KWCH 12 News bosses to let us have this opportunity. Early on, we pushed to make a trip like this happen because we want to get answers from major players with air safety and, always, to highlight the lives of those who passed.
Our coverage begins Monday, and we will be there all week long. We have a news special slated for next week, and a much bigger project beyond that too.
