F-15 Launches TAURUS KEPD 350 Cruise Missile at 400km Target @MilitaryNotes

Republic of Korea, September 12, 2017.

ROK Air Force staged a 400 km (250 mi) live fire drill with a F-15K Slam Eagle fighter bomber jet using the Taurus KEPD 350K air-to-surface cruise missile.

The drill was designed to verify the operational capability of the Taurus missile with a long range target and also the integration with the F-15K Slam Eagle.

The Taurus missile was launched with an inert warhead and hit with pinpoint accuracy at its target located at Gunsan, North Jeolla Province.

The Korean Air Force will procure a force of 260 Taurus 350K cruise missiles.
