High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is launched by Marines with Task Force Southwest (TFSW) in the Helmand province, Afghanistan, March 10, 2018. The HIMARS is an extremely flexible fire support asset, which allows Marines to provide crucial assistance to Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) conducting combat operations against the enemy in Helmand. Marines with TFSW are providing training, advise and assistance to the ANDSF at their request.
