Female, 25; observation notes from 05.02.2021
Patient was hospitalized on 11.01.2021 around 8AM, reported by her brother. The initial recognition included very high fever (40.7C), severe dehydration and delirium symptoms, later recognized as related to recent long-term medication overuse.
Later interview with patient and her family excluded suicide attempt as patient did not complain about any issues or did not have suicidal thoughts. Her family also did not report past attempts or any concerning behavior in this direction except disappearing medications; possible drug depencence.
Sleep periods unregulated, often spends nights awake, drawing and looking throught window. Sleep duration is shortened (1-5 hours a day); patient remains communicative. Speaks in logical way, does not seem to be tired.
Appetite is observed to be above average, without significant weight gain. Body temperature is measured usually at 36.5-38C, with rare episodes of fever (39C).
Patient seems to be overly creative, immature, often excited. Reports less ideas and worse mood without "energy candies"; noted as irresponsible recreational drug usage, redirected to psychologist.
Needs further observation, but can be released home if fever eposodes disappear and the patient will have provided proper care.
