Mountain Dew has been my favorite drink for a very long time and I thought it would be interesting to try to extract the caffeine from it. This video documents the process of extracting the caffeine using methylene chloride and also goes into the history and science of synthetic caffeine.

Thank you so much for watching this video! If you would like to suggest a video idea please leave it in the comments, and if you enjoyed please like and subscribe! It was my pleasure to add a bit of science to your day!
