So... I live in the great white northern country known as Canada, and let me tell you, It COLD right now. So, I'm trying to warm myself up and cause an early thaw with "Glass Garden" from Extra Deluxe. This track just hits me as a good feeling summertime jam. Extra Deluxe happens to be from the same city as me so I'm guessing there was some defiance to this eternal winter in the works while this track was written.

Happy day for me, more drum and bass on the channel. Todays tune comes from pqQp via Xtraterra Audio featuring vocals from Talabun. The Talabun vocals in this track really stick out to me as I dont think Ive ever heard his voice when its not performed all demon/witchdoctor style. Interesting for sure. pqQp provides an awesomely dark and brooding track full of sinister atmosphere and Im over here probably listening to this loud enough to shorten my lifespan. Good stuff, hope you guys enjoy.

Todays track is called Here Now from New York-based musician Avi Snow. I really enjoyed the warm vibes in this one, all the rich instrumental elements really give this track a comforting ambiance even when dealing with the bittersweet subject matter. Great stuff IMO. Hope you all like it.

Lovely bit of melodic techno/house... whatever you want to call it from Wolkenrot with his track Breath. Awesome chord progressions in this one that really tug at the ol heart. Really appreciate how reserved this track is as well, it can be super easy to slip up and have instruments overpower a track when creating laidback jams like this. Another one for the cloud-watching playlist.

Oh man, you hombres know how much I love the dark vibes and today I got a good one from SWARM and Lizzy Jane called Sleep Forever. I dont think Im ever going to grow up, I still love these savage dubstep basslines. Add on top of that the awesome vocals and you have a really well-defined theme to this tune, really digging the gothic feeling. Reminds me of something from my past that I cant quite remember.

Exploring the boundaries of my own musical tastes today with a track called passion from Zen Parks. Its crazy the amount of music Im being exposed to now on a daily basis and most of it isnt stuff I would know to even go looking for. One of my biggest surprises was how much awesome indie electronic music is out there. Well enough about me. Zen Parks was originally a solo project created in 2016 by singer/songwriter Mateo Guidali but he would soon be joined by Rafael Aritmendi and his repertoire of drums and percussion instruments. Personally, Im pretty glad these guys decided to go in on this project together, I feel like their joint venture really has a unique sound.
