Prolong the life of your Corona motherboard's eMMC module by... Disabling it? Yep, a problem that has impacted many Xbox 360 Corona motherboards with 4 GB of built-in storage is the eMMC flash module dying earlier than expected. Similar to the built-in flash storage on the Wii U! Although the fix for a dead eMMC is to completely replace it, there's still many consoles out there with a properly working eMMC that can be given a bit of free insurance thanks to the "nointmu" patch within J-Runner with Extras.
This tutorial is ONLY for Corona motherboard Xbox 360 consoles the 4 GB internal storage and RGH installed. If your console does not fit into that configuration, this tutorial is NOT for your system. This video will walk through the process of explaining the issue, dumping the NAND, patching it, and flashing it back to the system to prolong the life of it by disabling the internal memory unit entirely through software.
