This tutorial covers how to install the latest ARK-5 Custom Firmware (CFW) on ANY model of the PSP! This is accomplished by updating to firmware 6.61, installing ARK-5 CFW, and then making the CFW permanent on coldboot with cIPL. Unlike some legacy CFW options, ARK-5 works on every single model of the PSP on the latest firmware, including the Street/E1000 model! Have fun getting onto the latest supported CFW quickly, easily, and safely!
