On Sunday 14 June, London is due to host an Israeli property event called “The Great Israeli Real Estate Event.”
The event is promoting and normalising the sale of occupied Palestinian land and property in illegal Israeli settlements, including in Gush Etzion, an Israeli settlement bloc in the occupied West Bank.
Rights groups and campaigners have launched a campaign calling on the British government to step in.
Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are illegal under international law, condemned by the UN Security Council and the International Court of Justice. They are part of a system built through military occupation, land confiscation, home demolitions, forced displacement and the denial of Palestinian rights.
