The Underbelly Project, was a Underground art gallery, in an abandoned subway station. With a total of 103 street artists working down here the limited time that they had, they created some amazing artwork that has not been seen for many years. This project was completed in 2010, and since then, it's been sitting in the darkness, waiting to see some sort of light from urban explorers. Another thing is, the artwork has been becoming defaced with graffiti, pointless and meaningless graffiti. It is such a shame that people have to ruin nice things but, we live in this world where nice things can't last forever unfortunately. "WE OWN THE NIGHT" was something I saw and really wanted to capture. We set up candles, set up shop, and captured this moment. There are many other designs in this station, but this one seemed to catch my eye the most. Just seeing this stunning artwork in the pitch black, amazes me.
