First off, let me thank Covid, for clearing out this theatre ;)
Jones Beach Theatre, but the official name is Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater. This is a big and well-known theatre; PNC Bank Arts Center is the other big theatre in the Tri State Area. Jones Beach Theatre opened in 1952 and had a capacity of 8,000 people. In the early 1990's, this theatre underwent a huge renovation which added another level of seating, making the capacity increase to just under 12,000 people! I guess that wasn't good enough for everyone... so a few years later, they did MORE renovations and increased the capacity to 15,000 people! This theatre has a whole section for seating and snack stands, and of course the section where the stage is. There is actually a tunnel underwater from under the seats to under the stage. We explored the stage and what was around it, under it, and above it...
