In this video I explore the town of Whitecourt, Alberta.

This town is located about 180 km NW of Edmonton and it is surrounded by Woodlands County. This area sits on the eastern border of the foothills to the Rocky Mountains and it is often called the "Gateway to the Rockies". Whitecourt offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the surrounding wilderness, and the town is known as the snowmobile capital of Alberta. The town is a major Canadian forestry hub with major related facilities both within the town as well as the surrounding area.
