In this video, I was hired by a promotional agency in Nagoya to visit Nagano prefecture, a mountainous, landlocked prefecture in the center of Honshu. This area is famous for its cypress trees, which have been used since ancient times to construct buildings such as shrines, temples, castles, and everyday items such as lacquered items. The area has incredibly beautiful nature as well.
