I've read about this "infamous" scroller program used on the 8080-based Interact Home Computer systems, to scroll attention-grabbing advertisements on TV placed at store fronts. It is a great example of one of the first novel non-gaming related uses of early microcomputers. But are the stories true? If you saw one of these (possibly near Ann Arbor Michigan) or perhaps was one such business owner who used this, please leave a comment!
Or is the program incomplete? While there are several interesting commands, I've yet to figure out how they can be attached to the actual program sequence. I do plan on exploring more about 8080-based systems over this winter, but certainly welcome all help in deciphering this machine code by others who are experienced with such systems.
Associated work-in-progress support files are here:

![BEAST for the Polymorphic Systems POLY-88 (1976 Intel 8080 System)
Sneak peek preview of a modern-make game for the POLY-88.
POLY-88 Bob Bylee emulator (for MS-DOS):

BEAST source code and prebuilt binary targeted to 0x2000:

On hardware runtime to be presented at VCFSW 2026 in May.
The POLY-88 is an Intel 8080 / S-100 based system, similar to the Altair 8800 and SOL-20, first introduced in April 1976 ( yes, before the Apple ][ ). Had a 60Hz timer interrupt, VTI semi-graphics, System ROM with core utilities (write to screen, poll key press, etc). Also had a 2KB TinyBASIC ROM. Will be preparing a broader preview about this system later in the year.
